Michael Grieves "Digital Twins, Types, and their Interoperability Requirements and Challenges" Dr. Michael Grieves is an internationally renowned expert in digital transformation and originated the concept of the Digital Twin. His focus is on virtual product development, engineering, systems engineering and complex systems, manufacturing, especially additive manufacturing, and operational sustainment. Dr. Grieves has written the seminal books on Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) and seminal chapters on Digital Twins. In addition to his academic credentials, Dr. Grieves has over five decades of extensive executive and deep technical experience in both global and entrepreneurial technology and manufacturing companies. |

Mr. Rahul Tomar "Virtual Meeting Room – Realtime Collaborative and Immersive Tool for All Stakeholders" Mr. Rahul Tomar is Co-Founder and Managing Director of DigitalTwin Technology GmbH. He studied Mechanical and Civil Engineering and worked in construction industry for 18 years in India and Germany. The concept of digital twin he starts working on since 2015 and started his own company in 2018 based in Germany. The basic idea follows with simulating real-world infrastructure into virtual world considering law of Physics by the help of data collected via multiple data sources. Currently, he is working on research projects funded by EU and developing digital twin software that can be used for the complete lifecycle of the product or infrastructure. |

Dr. Javier Orozco "Local Digital-Twins in the Digital Europe Programme" Dr. Javier Orozco-Messana is a Project Officer within unit C3 in DG CNECT at the European Commission on a temporal position as Seconded National Expert. His duties include the implementation of EU policy within the Digital Europe Programme among other initiatives. His main research fields are photovoltaic materials, building sustainability, fibre reinforced concrete, performance evaluation and active learning in higher education.
